Graves Light
Graves light located at the outer Boston Harbor Islands is only accessible by boat but it's well worth the charter. This site is loaded with large boulders and rock formations making it a great home to the wide variety of marine life you will find. Here you can see crab, sea star, cunner, anemone, lobster, urchin, nudibranch, sea raven, sculpin, rock gunnel and flounder.
This site is a prime area for seals who like to sunbath on the rocks sheltering the lighthouse and you can sometimes find them taking naps underwater.
Parking: Accessible by boat charter
Levels: Intermediate +
Max Depth at High Tide: 70ft
Note the general area of Boston Harbor is heavy with boat traffic. We recommend using dive reels (especially if there is fog) to help guide divers back to the anchor line.
