Fort Foster
Fort Foster is a local treasure marked for its rich history. It was an active fort from 1901-1946. Divers come here to explore as it's a fairly protected area.
Divers often spot sea ravens, different variations of crabs, cunner, lobsters and nudibranchs.
Off season- August 17th - May 24, the main gate will remain open 24/7 and there will be no Gate Attendants and no entry fee.
Fort Foster is always a carry-in/carry-out park. Visitors must bring all of their litter, trash, and dog waste out of the park and dispose of them properly
