Ships Cove at Fort Williams State Park
There are two nice diver in this protected Cape Elizabeth, ME cove- to the right of the cove and to the left of the cove hugging the rocks. It's a similar idea of a dive to those familiar with the very popular dive site, Folly Cove, in Cape Ann, MA. The park does close around dusk, so there are no night dives available here.
The dive site is just down the road from the famous Portland Head Lighthouse, and there are also portions of the original fort that can be seen. making this an overall really enjoyable location for family too.
Parking: Non-metered spots
Levels: All Levels
Max Depth: 25 Feet
Wind: Avoid Northeast Winds
Facilities: Porta Potty
